Experience the bats of Bedford Cemetery after dark by joining us on a special bat walk to see the bats in action.  This will be an opportunity for you to see these amazing flying mammals and their astonishing aerial acrobatics.  The walk will be led by a member of the Bedfordshire Bat Group and bat detectors will be provided.  Bat detectors convert the high frequency call bats use to navigate to a pitch that humans are able to hear.

The walk will take about an hour and a half with a maximum of 20 people, no dogs and any children to be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Comfy walking shoes and a torch are recommended.  Although we will do our best to ensure that there is no risk of injury the cemetery ground is uneven and participants take part at their own risk.

There will be no charge for this event but donations to the Bat Group would be appreciated.
