By popular demand, back again for Heritage Weekend, is Jo Roberts, to lead her fascinating walk about some of the magnificent trees in the cemetery.
Trees are amazing things that we just take for granted but she will show how they are wonderfully advanced to the point where they can protect themselves, warn of danger and help us in our daily lives. We often see a dog that we say is “clever,” but so are trees, as she will illustrate.
Meet at the Chapel 10 mins before the start of the walk.
This event is free but a small contribution to the Friends would be welcome.
There will be refreshments available at the end of the walks.
(Please note: The cemetery ground is uneven so please wear appropriate shoes.
When viewing memorials, please do not lean on them.)
