There is nothing like a walk for clearing away the cobwebs and Foster Hill Road Cemetery is a beautiful and interesting place for a wander, especially now that the spring flowers and blossoms are appearing. Join us to enjoy them.
We have 8 unguided walks including a ‘Meander in front of the Chapel’, ‘People who shaped Bedford and a dog’, & ‘Badgers, babies and a murder on the tennis courts’. There is also a Tree Walk which identifies some of the 850+ trees in the Cemetery.
Volunteers will be on hand to provide copies of maps and details of the walks and where the wild things grow and to answer any questions you may have.
The walks are free but a small contribution towards the Friends’ would be welcome.
Please note that the cemetery ground is uneven. When viewing memorials, please do not lean on them
