Apply to be a Friend

As well as helping to support conservation and restoration at the cemetery, Friends can enjoy :-

  • Regular newsletters
  • Monthly email updates about activities
  • Free entry fees to events.
  • A free copy of our Book ‘Bedford’s Victorian Cemetery’

As a Charity, entirely reliant on the work of volunteers, we are always keen to recruit not only new members, but people with the time and energy to contribute actively to The Friends.  There are many ways in which volunteers can contribute, and if this is of interest to you, please contact the Friends by email: info@fosterhillroadcemetery.co.uk, or telephone 01234 360003. Working parties take place Thursday mornings throughout the year 9:00am until 12:00pm. We hope in the future to be open to the public for enquiries the first Saturday of every month. Postal enquiries about memorials and graves should be addressed to Foster Hill Road Cemetery, Foster Hill Road, Bedford MK41 7TD.
